PNC Music Pavilion - Charlotte's Best Outdoor Concert Venue

 

The PNC Music Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheater located in Dilworth, Charlotte, North Carolina. With its proximity to Uptown and the Levine Center, it is one of the city’s best outdoor concert venues. The amphitheater hosts a multitude of musical acts throughout the year. The venue is managed by Live Nation and is operated in partnership with the City of Charlotte. It is located beside the PNC Bank Arts Center and the BB&T Ballpark, which is home to the Charlotte Knights minor league baseball team.

Where is the PNC Music Pavilion?

The PNC Music Pavilion is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is situated in the Uptown area and is just minutes away from the Levine Center. The venue is just a few blocks away from the BB&T Ballpark and the Carolina Panthers’ stadium, Bank of America Stadium.  There are five entrances to the venue, which are all easy to find. There is one off of Tryon the Boulevard and the other four entrances are located on S. Tryon St., E. Morehead St., E. New Bern St. and E. Trade St.


How to Get to the PNC Music Pavilion

There are five entrances to the venue, which means you will not miss any of your favorite artist’s set.  - Tryon St. Entrance  - Tryon St. Entrance is located on the side of the BB&T Ballpark. This entrance has two lanes for each direction, which means you will not have to worry about getting stuck in the traffic. - E Trade St. Entrance  - The E Trade St. Entrance is located on the backside of the BB&T Ballpark. Parking is free, so you will not have to worry about a fee. - E New Bern St. Entrance  - The E New Bern St. Entrance is located on the side of the BB&T Ballpark. This entrance also has two lanes for each direction, so you will not have to worry about getting stuck in the traffic. - E Morehead St. Entrance  - The E Morehead St. Entrance is located on the left side of the BB&T Ballpark. This entrance has two lanes for each direction, so you will not have to worry about getting stuck in the traffic.

Best PNC Music Pavilion Concerts

Back to the Old School - 2018  The Back to the Old School tour is a collaboration between Van Halen and the Van Hagar brothers. The tour will feature two sold-out shows in Charlotte, North Carolina. The first concert is on June 30. The second concert will be held on July 1 at the PNC Music Pavilion.  Coldplay - 2018  Coldplay will be performing at the PNC Music Pavilion on July 15. This will be the English band’s first North American show in five years. Coldplay has released a number of critically acclaimed albums and singles such as “Paradise,” “Clocks,” “Viva la Vida,” and “Up & Up.”  Shania Twain - 2018  Shania Twain is an iconic artist and the PNC Music Pavilion is the perfect place for her to perform. The Canadian singer will be in Charlotte on Aug. 2 to perform her greatest hits. Shania has had a long and successful career and she is still going strong.
