We know you have questions about our Asbestos Survey and we would love to speak with you over the phone to answer them all, but here are some of the most common questions we get asked.
An asbestos survey is a detailed inspection conducted to identify the presence and condition of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in a property. It's important for ensuring safety, compliance with health regulations, and planning any necessary removal or management of asbestos.
We offer two main types of asbestos surveys: Management Surveys, which are standard surveys to locate the presence of asbestos in a building, and Refurbishment/Demolition Surveys, which are required before any construction work to identify asbestos that might be disturbed during the process
A Management Asbestos Survey involves a thorough inspection of the property to locate ACMs that could be damaged or disturbed during normal occupancy. It includes assessing the condition of these materials and their potential to release fibers.
This survey is more intrusive and involves accessing all areas where refurbishment work will take place or where the building will be demolished. It's designed to locate all ACMs, including those concealed within the structure, to ensure they are safely managed during the work
Safety is our top priority. We follow strict guidelines to minimize disturbance of ACMs during the survey. Our team uses appropriate protective equipment and ensures that any sampling is done in a controlled manner to prevent asbestos fiber release
