Bojangles Coliseum is the home of the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League. The team plays their games at the 18,000-seat Coliseum located at 1401 Coliseum Way in Uptown Charlotte, NC. The site is a short 15 minute drive to the uptown Charlotte center city.  With a variety of parking options, it’s easy to get to Little Rock Road and head straight to the arena.

The first Tuesday of every month is all you can eat chicken at Bojangles. - Check out the Checker’s Wall of Fame. Put a name and number of your own choosing on the wall, then enjoy a game while your favorite player hangs out in the concourse. - Check out the Charlotte Checkers team store and say hi to the likes of Blake Pietila in the front of the store. - Enjoy a night out in the city with dinner and a show at the SOC or an evening at the Balcony with drinks at Oven & The Egg and a view of Downtown Charlotte. - Learn about some local food and drink history at The American Mint.


How to Get to Bojangles Coliseum

You can easily get to the stadium from I-85. From I-85, take Little Rock Rd. West Exit and head West on Little Rock Road. Follow the signs to the Coliseum and turn into the Little Rock Road entrance to the parking garage. If you’re coming from the East, take Little Rock Rd. West and turn left on to Little Rock Road. Follow the signs to the arena and turn into the Little Rock Road entrance to the parking garage. The closest and most convenient public transit is the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS). CATS offers a wide range of transportation options, including bus, light rail, and commuter train service. The Bojangles Coliseum stop is located at the corner of Little Rock Road and N. Tryon St.

- Tailgate before the game and bring a blanket or two to sit on and enjoy the game with your friends. There are plenty of open spaces up in the concourse to sit and enjoy the game. - If you’re driving, make sure to bring enough room in your car for friends who want to bring blankets or chairs.
